load-only service agreement

                LOAD-ONLY SERVICE AGREEMENT

LIABILITY COVERAGE

         We (your moving company) have a "Happiness Guarantee" with our service, which means that if you (the customer) see any wasted time, poor quality work, or damage caused by us during our job of loading your truck or container, you may deduct from the ending bill the amount you feel is fair to compensate for the problems that you saw.   However, you agree that without purchasing additional insurance, any compensation you may be owed for damages or losses may not exceed $2,000 which is the maximum liability limit that comes with the service at no additional charge.  If you wish to have more liability coverage than this, you may purchase it before the job begins at $80 per additional $1,000 of liability limit coverage.   Please initial the below listed maximum liability limit coverage you choose to agree to have with your service.

EXPECTATION OF JOB LENGTH AND COST:

         Our service fee is $55/hr per mover, with a two hour minimum for labor, plus reimbursement at cost for any materials used, such as boxes, mattress bags, plastic wrap, tape and ratchet straps.  Our billed time starts when we arrive at your load site, and ends when we have moved your last item.  We deduct break times and personal phone use time.

AFTER THE LOAD

             When we (your loading company) are going to only load your goods, followed by a second and third moving company transporting and unloading your goods, you agree that we (the loading company) will only be liable for damages or losses caused to your items while we are loading your goods, and specifically not for damages or losses that might be caused after your property is passed onto and handled by other parties.  For this reason, we will be taking pictures of each of our load-walls and showing them to you after we are done loading at the end of the load job.  If these load-wall pictures meet your approval of a satisfactory amount of risk you would be taking, you would then sign off again (below, a second time), at the end of the loading job, confirming your satisfaction with the load, and confirming your agreement to not hold us liable for anything that happens to your goods after that point in time.
